I have a little story to tell and it may shock anyone that knows me and will read this…
I just have this secret to confess and you may need to sit down just to scroll on this post.
I’ve never been to the Kentucky Oaks… nor Thurby. *Gasping as you read that right?!
I know.
I know.
It’s bad. How I held that confession in all of this time, I’ll never know.
All jokes aside, I’m excited to enjoy this year’s Kentucky Derby week as it will be one I’m not working for the first time in ten years. I’m 36 years old, for the record that ages me down, and can’t remember a Derby week where I actually attempted to enjoy it.
Cheers to trying a new way to live life in Louisville on the most exciting week our city celebrates with the world for a tradition that is 145 years old.
