Creatives, like all walks of life, are judged as those who have nothing better to do with their lives than create something with words or physical materials. It’s not a “norm” in our everyone is an entrepreneur world.
Oddly the thing that people don’t realize is that regardless of the job’s conditions, there is so much a person non-verbal learns from art and most take on new views of the world you thought you knew till you read one sentence, saw one piece of art, or observes one performance.
I’ve always been creative with my life as I’m dedicated to my goals but fluid with my course of action. I wasn’t raised by artists but both parents have an exceptional taste in music and appreciation for writers, photographers, and painters. We never spoke about the impact of art in the home(s) I grew up in, but I know have changed that as an adult. I’ve changed that in my home as I’ve placed meaningful art on our walls to stimulate the children’s minds they’re growing and evolving as individuals.
I’ve been on a determined path with my health and the harmony that inner peace impacts my autoimmune diseases. I’ve opened my mind to new ways of creating a release to let go of the turbulence that comes with elevated movement. Sometimes I have to take a step away to allow turbulence to pass or it’s the counteraction with a step forward to push myself through whatever space it is that I’m having problems with.

I hope that whoever read through this blog post is able to find some comfort knowing that life is beauty from afar on the surface of the glittery pieces of art but when you take a step forward, you’re going to be surprised about the details of the art in front of you that will make you appreciate the complexity that it took to organize this one piece of art much like the depths of life that are more beautiful than the shallow views.
Think about it for a minute… you’re a creative and inventive creature. You’ve made it thus far without failing. That in itself is a work of art with words, acts, and physical materials. It’s the most coveted opportunity one has to accomplish in the stage we call life.
