This wandering soul found a place to call home. Yes, I’m now a proud homeowner with my husband but home is a relative term with a definition that varies per the person of whom is defining it.

For me, my heart is in the people I love. I believe a part of them is with me at all times therefore I share the same with them. My definition dually exists because in my 35.5 years in this world, I’ve moved twenty-five times. This probably explains my tendency to purge my closet, house, and anything in excess of what I need to survive in life.

The things I need to survive this autoimmune challenged life is peace, love, food, clothing, kind people, healthy food, positive environments, rest, and everything “glittery” with goodness to focus on in turbulent moments for serenity.

With my purging comes the opposing action of holding the precious people and things close to me. In today’s Wild West world, you never know what to anticipate for the four walls that provide you shelter. I have indoor cameras, outdoor cameras, panic buttons, and sufficient weaponry to guard my people and pets. But nothing is full proof so we have insurance to cover us in the worst-case moment’s that can happen to anyone.

Before I was married I also had renters insurance that proved to be quite important as two homes in my 35.5 years had instances that included the moments I couldn’t predict. Much like health is a necessity to living a complete life, safety is a necessity to feel secure in your four walls. Granted, the level of coverage you select in terms of limit, the cost of replacement, and the rate you prefer will vary by average cost of the renter and the type of coverage you choose with Erie Insurance.

It also helps if you like playing “hostess with the mostess” like me, then you most definitely need a policy for anyone that could be injured on your property; heaven forbid though…

Another great perk of insurance is that it covers you anywhere you are in the entire world. Example: If I’m out and about in NuLu working at Lueberry Acia or any given coffee shop and I lose my laptop because someone were to take it when I’m grabbing a water or using the restroom. Insurance (renters or not) covers losses like that. So take that, bad people that steal things. You suck and what you do comes back around so have fun with that!

No that my heart and body have a place to call home it eases up on my anxiety that used to keep me up all night. While a completely stress free life is an unobtainable desire, you can most definitely feel safe and sound knowing that the things you love can be replaced so you can focus on the experience of living this life to the fullest with the people that are home to your heart.
