Have you ever had a moment where you realize you’ve changed? I have and it happened right in my closet yesterday. Since the dawn of time I’ve been a minimalist with shoes and clothing because I’m not always the most responsible nor coordinated human being so I tend to slip, spill and shrink things.
As I gazed at my growing shoe collection, I realized that I’ve suddenly grown up.
Like, who dis? Dis the responsible human being writing this. Yes, the 35 year old me.
I haven’t shrunk anything lately, ruined anything with food spills or phantom bleach marks that haunt majority of my clothing. Weird but true.
As I turn over my new leaf and evolve with the weather, I want to celebrate it and be transparent to anyone that reads my blog. I’m going to start sharing more about my style and fashion preferences but I promise that I will never transition out of the blogger I’ve always been; a writer. My blogs will always have more words than photos and I will always support philanthropic ventures in the city of Louisville. I’m simply growing and hoping you’ll grow with me.
So here I go again on my own hoping you’ll follow me to support my work as I will always follow and support you.
Time to shake my booties and stop being a wallflower.

Shoes: Nine West Women’s Breezie Leather Bootie review: Cozy with comfort and fashion forward. I purchased them in 2015 and wore them throughout my wedding planning season. Bonus: I still get compliments; one was from NYC and the other from NuLu where a woman chased me down to compliment them and ask where I got them from. That’s where the potential bad news comes in; I can’t find them anywhere for me to link to that still has them in stock. :( The only alternative is to find another style from Nine West and get as close as you can to the new style.
