Embrace coziness and peace of mind with my hygge challenge. Hygge is a Danish word for a lifestyle movement that celebrates warmth, kinship, and coziness.
During this turbulent period of political change, frightening headlines, and cultural division, it’s more important than ever to emphasize the importance of harmonious, happy homes . . . which is why I’m choosing to focus on hygge as a cornerstone of my new year.
This challenge is a thirty-day photo challenge where you’ll post the topic of the day as you see fit for your home and life. Sharing it will prompt others to ask about this; which is a segue to introducing them to this slow living / mindful lifestyle. Use any buzzword you wish to convey your thoughts and emotions for this. Just don’t get so trendy your message gets lost while you’re trying to tie it together.
