The new Misters for MS is a tall, dark, and handsome fundraiser benefitting the Kentucky-Southeast Indiana Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Set for July 27, Misters for MS will take place at the beautiful Louisville Water Tower and is presented by Hilliard Lyons.
Set for 6 -10 p.m., Misters for MS includes a silent auction with more than 50 items. Light bites and cocktails will be served from Tito’s, Evan Williams, 502 Winery and Jefferson’s Reserve. During the live auction led by WAVE-TV’s Kevin Harned, bachelors will walk the runway and assist in auctioning off fantastic experiences and unique items.
“When creating Misters for MS, the committee set the intention of building an event that is unique in Louisville,” explains Misters for MS Committee Chair and MS Society Board Member Jessica Tretter. “We came up with the ‘bachelor & live auction fusion’ as an interesting twist on the usual live auction. Bachelors will represent each live auction item and walk the runway as the item is being presented. The bachelors are excited to create a fun, lively atmosphere.”
Debra Eichenberger, executive director, National MS Society – Kentucky/SE Indiana Chapter adds, “Our vision is bold: a world free of MS! Our bachelors are bolder, helping us auction off some highly sought after experiences.”
Live auction items include:
· In-Home, private dining, four-course meal for 10;
· Hot air balloon ride for two;
· Package of more than $1,000 in gift certificates to Louisville’s top restaurants;
· 52 bottles of Old 502 Wine;
· Private ride at CycleBar St. Matthews for 40 people;
· Necklace from Genesis Diamonds;
· Evan Williams Bourbon Experience Private Tour, plus Chocolate & Bourbon Tasting and meeting with an Artisanal Distiller;
· 90-minute training with an NFL Pro and four trial memberships from Baptist Health Training Professionals.
