I must confess, I am a bourbon and bubbly lover. My guy makes the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. It’s the perfect combination of Old Forrester, simple syrup, cherries, and an orange slice as a garnish that I love to put into the drink and devour as soon as I get to the bottom of the glass. When I’m hanging with the girls we’re a bit cliché but we love rosé and bubbly.
I don’t venture outside of my comfort zone. It’s just not something I do in life nor in the things I consume. I’m a creature of habit and live accordingly so I dared to live a little when I tried Bravazzi. I was naturally drawn to the product for the name. If you know my full name you’d think I was a fresh citizen to the country; my maiden name is Portaro so with the first name Bella I sound very Italian while it is just a fraction of my genetics but my Italian grandfather was the best man I’ve ever known and he so anything that makes me think about him, I love it immediately.
If you’ve followed my blog you’ll know that I am a Crohn’s and Colitis. I battle it every day. Some days are better than others but the good days are like a burst of sunshine and I’m out running like I’m a kid. Sunshine, laughter, music, art, food, and everything uplifting is what boosts me on those days.
Digestive issues has made me hyper aware of the foods and drinks I consume and what’s in them. Imagine my surprise when I found out that Bravazzi was all natural, zero high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors and colors. And … Drum roll please …. It’s gluten free with only six ingredients!! *Happy dance!* Just know that Bravazzi is an adult beverage so you have to be 21 years of age or older to consume because it has 4.2% ABV.
A few weeks ago I had one of those days but still felt a little sick so I didn’t want to push myself with any alcohol in my system as it would cause major cramps but being the hostess I love being, I made a cocktail for my friends as we sat poolside enjoying a beautiful Saturday in the sun that went well into the evening in chats about work, life, and of course we had a lot of fun.
Since my friends and I love bubbly so much I thought I’d surprise them with a cocktail of made with Bravazzi and prosecco on ice.. It’s bubbly, flavorful, and delicious. While I didn’t partake in consumption, I did have a sip just like any great bartender does from time to time with the creation process.
If you’re looking for a refreshing beverage for the summer, day or night, I highly suggest you try Bravazzi. It’s on my love list and you can try it in three flavors; Grapefruit, Lemon, and Blood Orange. I tried them all and each beverage was delicious and six packs are only $9.99! Bravazzi is available in Louisville, KY and Nashville, TN and coming to your city very soon! More deets are available via www.bravazzi.com.

* If you want to try it solo, it’s just as delicious as the summer day drifted into night it was consumed without any bubbly whatsoever.
** Just as it was made with six ingredients and selected to brewed in Memphis, I hope you’re as responsible as they were when making it. Please don’t drink and drive, ever. It’s not worth taking the the live of others or yourself. **
