It’s my privilege to introduce you to Andre Wilson.
Andre is my pivotal moment friend for life. He was there when I had bad break-up #1 when I turned 30 and there when bad break-up #2 commenced and the turnaround that came from that time.
He’s built me up and has given me confidence boosts when I needed them and all confidence felt deflated. It’s a beautiful thing I realized it’s not just me he does this for, he does this for all because of who he is and how he does what he does for so many is what makes him such a wonderful person.
In a world where women lose their confidence because of heartache or from standing in the line at the grocery store and staring at magazines that tell us we’re not good enough till we lose 10 lbs more, decorate our homes better, how to be happier than we currently are, and so on … He’s the exception to the rule of positive self-talk.
He’s been a silent part of my life through the good and bad times with style advice, jokes, and support.
Can you believe the pivotal moments he’s helped me get ready for?
The dresses are on the surface. The confidence and support is invisible but it’s important to know that the support is what pushed me through the worst times and led me to the best of them. He’s the Yoda to my style and he’s taught me how to move onward and upward holding my head high even if my heart is low.

Andre with his “Let’s Dance” instructor:
“It’s been an amazing and challenging experience! I never thought that ballroom dancing would be so involved! After my 3rd lesson I wanted to quit because I felt so awkward. My dance instructor Irina, was knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. So I stuck with it, and I’m glad I did! I’m honored to be a part of this event! – AW
Cheer on Andrew as he dances to raise donations to feed people in the city of Louisville through “Feed my Neighbor” via the Cathedral of the Assumption.
