Planning a reunion? Save yourself from some of the headaches and create some spare time by registering for this workshop to help ease pre-event stress!
The Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau will host a free workshop to help anyone who might be planning a reunion; the reunion can be any type – family, military, class, etc. The workshop will take place on Sat., Feb. 18, 2017, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Galt House Hotel, 140 N. 4th Street, www.galthouse.com. Admission is free to anyone planning a reunion in Louisville, but seating is limited to two guests per reunion. The workshop is set up to deliver helpful information to seasoned planners as well as first-time planners. Each planner will receive a kit which includes city information as well as a step-by-step guide to planning a reunion using charts, graphs and worksheets. Experts will review how to secure hotel rooms and meeting space as well as show creative ways to get the word out through social media. This event is also attended by local vendors and attractions who will give away door prizes.
The reunion workshop is held biannually; in the winter and fall. The fall workshop is scheduled for Sat., Sept. 16, 2017, at Embassy Suites Louisville East, 9940 Corporate Campus Drive, www.louisvilleeast.embassysuites.com. More information will be available as the details are finalized.
