Years ago I met a lovely woman named Brigitte. To know her is to love her. She has a certain air about her that’s not easy to define. She’s classy, intelligent, eloquent, kind, and beautiful … She’s truly one of the most stunning women I’ve ever laid eyes on.
As her friend I’ve been fortunate enough to watch her grow through different stages life. From marriage to motherhood, my admiration for this beautiful woman continues to expand on a boundless meter.
I recently asked her about motherhood and what it feels like to me a new parent. She replied, “Becoming a parent is like falling in love for the first time. The trivial things you think are important don’t matter anymore, and your entire life gets put in a new perspective. From the moment your child is born, you never stop surprising yourself at how loving, protective, and proud you can be.”
Welcome the world ETR. You are so loved.
This is a reminder that we should celebrate the little moments of time because when collected, they are the largest of them all.
