I met this lady many moons ago when I was an intern for her at 99.7 DJX. She quickly became a friend and mentor that has lent me her ear on more than one occasion throughout the vast changes my life has taken over the last four years.
She’s as lovely as she is intelligent, talented, and obviously beautiful.
If you don’t know her already, meet my friend and today’s Human of Louisville, Sarah Jordan.
“Louisville is a magical place the two weeks leading up to Derby. You can feel a tingle in the air. There is no better time to live in this city and watch it come alive. I cry every time I hear My Old Kentucky Home on Derby day, and get chills every time the race runs. Every year I pinch myself thinking “is this really my “job”? To cover a worldwide event as Louisville stands center stage?” It’s amazing from the start to finish, and the hats and fascinators are the cherry on top.”
“This year more than ever, I’m thankful for my husband, my two kids; Camp and Kennedy, and a job that’s not just a job to me. It’s my passion.”
