Tech Tuesday: Meet the Modern Mrs. Darcy

A few weeks ago an amazing blogger and friend, Heather of HerKentucky.com, organized a blogger brunch for Louisville bloggers. It was a great brunch to connect with others I already knew but I met a few bloggers that truly blew me away with their concepts and content.

One of those bloggers was Anne of Modern Mrs.Darcy. Her goal is to put a timely spin on timeless women’s issues–from relationships & family to beauty & style to the modern woman’s role in the changing work place – there’s no topic too big or small to get me talking.

I asked Anne for her thought’s about being a Louisvillian and she said,”My mom always said Louisville was a big small town: big city offerings, small town feel. And EVERYONE knows everything about everyone, or is only one degree removed from finding out everything you say or do so be nice, to everyone.”

I laughed when I thought about it because it’s the complete truth. Everyone knows everyone. It’s two degrees of Kevin Bacon at all times and if you’re not nice to others the word will travel faster than you can say Loo-a-vul. 

Anne is one of the few bloggers that I have personally met that has ventured out into podcasts. 

I’ve recently became obsessed with them. My favorite is Big Magic and anything that includes interviews with Dr. Wayne Dyer. 

Anne’s podcast is the next one on my list.
