Oh my! I saw these pictures sitting on my guys desk and decided to take share.
I love that the same smile, zest for life, and desires for new adventures has transferred through the years and is still a high value today.
He’s a a great man, father, son, brother, partner, best friend, and most importantly, he truly makes an effort to be a good human being. The good person he strives to be is the person he actually is.
He gives love, joy, support, kindness, friendship, peace, humility, patience, and advice to his children and many other people on a daily basis.
For me, he’s my best-friend. He listens to me and gives me advice when I need it. He stands by my side during the moments where most people would probably run; Crohn’s isn’t an attractive disease. But he stays right by my side with no judgement or signs of annoyance from how long my treatments take and no matter how fatigued I am, he cheerleads for me to power through.
He looks at me in the eyes and tells me that he’s going to be by my side no matter what happens. For the first time in my life, I actually believe him.
There’s a quote I love that I wanted to share, “One day life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching.”
I love the rose colored view I have right now.
Cheers to a new year, Keebs. Here we go on a new adventure.
