Real beauty doesn’t come from the smile on my face, the curl of my hair, the complementary color of wearing black, nor the makeup I wear. Real beauty comes from your heart.
2020 kicked off with a new semester in grad school, purchasing a new dwelling, business growth, and transferring life. | It’s been a complex few months, but as all my doctors have said, “You’re in a really good place.” Coming out of a decade of fighting autoimmune diseases, this is music to my ears. I’m never going to be cured, but I’ll never give up to stay in remission.
Strength, gumption, and grace are my touch points along with my husband, insta-kids, mom, and friends.
Life is as good as you believe. It’s never perfect, as pain is sitting in the dark waiting for you to tap out. So you must push yourself to get through life one day at a time without giving pain the power to weaken you.
God’s plan for you plays out when you stick to whatever faith you can muster.
Hope doesn’t discriminate, but you must choose it if you want to glow through what you go through.
Your heart knows the way. Follow it and discover how beautiful your life and soul can be.
