OZARK on Netflix was created by Bill Dubuque (“The Accountant,” “The Judge”), this drama series stars Jason Bateman as Marty Byrde, a financial planner who relocates his family from Chicago to a summer resort community in the Ozarks. With wife Wendy and their two kids in tow, Marty is on the move after a money-laundering scheme goes wrong, forcing him to pay off a substantial debt to a Mexican drug lord in order to keep his family safe. While the Byrdes’ fate hangs in the balance, the dire circumstances force the fractured family to reconnect.
Their family business is about as risky as I’ve ever seen Bateman but I love it. I can’t give away any spoilers but I’ll say his business isn’t one I want to be in, ever… never ever.

One that I want to be a part of in any capacity in our city is One that I want to be a part of in any capacity in our city the local restaurants! any of them, all of them, and anytime. The fact that this one is owned and operated locally in a village that promotes entrepreneurship and community involvement. Jade Palace, I think I love you.

*According to FTC regulations, I’m going to tell you that I love these and wasn’t paid by Netflix (one day, I pray) but I did partner with Westport Village because they’re the bomb and I love their mindset of communiry support and promoting everything local! Louisvillians love Louisville so this comes easy for us!

Support the entrepreneurs in our world. They make our community thrive in the lovely city we all love! Binge on that.
