Rocksbox Review

10.18.16 | Louisville

To all the ladies that love jewelry, I’m sure you’ve heard of a new monthly subscription service called Rocksbox. If not, here’s the skinny, it’s a $19 dollar monthly subscription service that sends you three designer jewelry pieces with no time limit.

Sounds groovy, right?

Well … Umm … Hmm …

Yes and no depending upon your personal style and your preferences.

Me, I usually lean more towards local or practical on the jewelry I typically purchase. This being said, I do purchase “designer” on occasion. But it’s more special occasion and totally dependent upon whether or not I can purchase it from a local designer. For example, W&M created beautiful jewelry for my bridesmaids from the referral of the wonderful women of Revelry Gallery and Boutique, thus I give them preference.

All things considered, I subscribed to the membership because I’m always curious to see how companies work and to see if I’d like it than yay and if I didn’t than I’d learn not to continue it.

Half the fun is in the adventure of life, no matter how big, small, or in this case, how sparkly.

I must mention that no matter how I feel about shopping local or purchasing items online, Rocksbox has some amazing pieces as you can see.

They’re all beautiful and unique in their own way and I love the pair of Kendra Scott’s earrings that I purchased from Dress & Dwell, another place owned and operated another group of wonderful local women.

As previously written, it’s for some women and not others. It’s not for me at this time but it could be for you. Check it out regardless, it’s better to know and try for yourself than live a life without the experience.

* Huge props to Meaghan Rose and Maia Bittner, founders of Rocksbox, for creating a company that appeals to on-the-go professionals that do not have a lot of time in our on-the-go society. Primping ain’t easy when you’re trying to change the world and make a positive impact. In this case, you lady bosses don’t rule, you rock.
