Beauty blogging is an inside project just as much as it is an outward facade. You can be the most beautiful woman on earth on the outside and be the ugliest woman on the inside. Beauty is a balancing act of contentment and self-love.
Beauty is an action.
Beauty is an emotion.
Beauty is a state of mind.
I’ve listed the ways I practice beauty in my life below, I hope it brings you safety in contentment.
1. Accept yourself.
Stop judging yourself and learn to appreciate who you are. Coming into the realization that you are not perfect nor will you ever be, is quite freeing. Compassion is a beautiful thing to
have within yourself and carry with you to give you the right amount of space to realize your errors are what make you perfectly imperfect.
2. Treat yourself the way you deserve others to treat you.
The way you treat yourself sets the standard for all other souls on earth. Love who you are and learn to grow cozy in your own leather bindings. You’re not built for everyone, sweet soul. You’re built for the people that deserve you. Never settle for anything less than what you give.
3. Stop caring about your favade appearence to other people.
Do you love others?
Do they love you?
Do you give them time?
Do they waste yours?
Treat others with respect. If they can’t do the same decency in return, ghost out on that relationship. It’s always give amd get; not give and give nor take and take. It’s give and take. That’s why it’s a partnership. Every relationship ebbs and flows. Just make sure it’s balanced or you’ll capsize.
4. Know your worth.
You a ccept the love you think you deserve. Look in the mirror. Love the hell out of that person. Except nothing less than what you give it.
5. Let go.
Let go of faux friends, lovers, family, etc. It doesn’t matter who someone is in your life… if they are meant to fit into your heart and fleeting time, they will. If they’re full of hate and negativity they will spread that into your life. As the saying goes: “If you can’t change the people around you, change the people around you.”
6. Forgive yourself and others.
Forgive yourself for things you cannot change and move past it. Forgive others. Resentment is like drinking poison, it won’t hurt anyone but you.
Let. That. Go.
Thank you, next!
7. Be positive.
Be present. Forgive the past and move onward in life. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow isn’t here yet. Live for the life you have as you breathe and read this.
– Inhale positivity.
– Exhale negativity.
8. Be your own cheerleader.
Rah rah ah-ah-ah!
Ypu’ve got spirit. Don’t let the heavy nonsense weigh you down with its venomous concrete.

Loving yourself is about enjoying your fleeting time, trusting your feelings, taking chances, losing sorrow, finding joy, cherishing memories, and learning from the past to build a better future.
Sometimes you have to stop worrying, wondering, and doubting… have faith that things will work out, maybe not exactly how you wanted to but how they’re meant to.
Meanwhile you can catch me outside:
I’m sittin’ on the dock of the bay, watchin’ the tide roll away the worries of momentary disatisfaction for long term contentment.
