Family Scholar House is partnering with CycleBar St. Matthews for a fundraising ride that is open to the community. The cost is $25 per bike and proceeds go directly to serving and supporting Family Scholar House families.
Saturday, January 27 at 2 p.m. – Sign up here.
As a community ambassador, CycleBar has created CycleGiving as a philanthropic movement, created by CycleBar, that partners with local organizations to create exciting and energetic, premium indoor cycling charity rides. The proceeds benefit the organizations’ mission or special projects. With the generous support of Katie Kannapell Ryser, owner of CycleBar St. Matthews, Family Scholar House will be able to raise funds for each of these areas of need.
About Family Scholar House:
Family Scholar House is changing lives, families and communities through education. Our mission is to end the cycle of poverty and transform our community by empowering families and youth to succeed in education and achieve life-long self-sufficiency. All of these families and young adults are low-income and have experienced homelessness or unstable housing. FSH parent scholars are full-time college students, pursing post-secondary education, while being full time parents. The single parent students of Family Scholar House are working day in and day out to achieve their goals, ultimately gain self-sufficiency and provide a better life for themselves and their children.
