“Each morning, I wake up 5 minutes early to write down a few things that I’m thankful for, I randomly drop love notes in the mail to people who make me smile and always give big two-armed hugs. Building a life of gratitude is SO important but it can be challenging because, often times, we gals (you know, the ones who work multiple jobs, juggle family and friends and love and life and still try to squeeze in an extra 5 minutes at the gym) get caught up in the moment and can overlook all of the goodness in our lives. So, its important to take time each day to give credit to what fills our cup. This way, if you start feeling crummy, you can look back and remind yourself of all the blessings that you do have. Whether it’s an amazingly supportive group of friends, warm coffee in the morning, clean sheets on your bed, shoes on your feet or a boyfriend who can make you laugh until your belly hurts. And the best thing about this type of lifestyle? It’s contagious. Before long, you’ll find yourself surrounded by people who are kind, thoughtful, supportive and as grateful to have you as you are to have them!”
