Remembering where I was on that fateful day 13 years ago. Where were you on the day that changed all of our lives in ways we could have imagined? No matter how much time goes by, we’ll never forget where we were and what we were doing on the morning of September 11th, 2001, when the news broke that the first plane had hit the World Trade Center. And then the horror of watching the second plane hit.
All of us should stop and take a moment to remember those who lost their lives in the attacks and also the loved ones that were left behind and are still grieving.
Through the pain is new growth. Just as former Mayor Rudy Giuliani said “The attacks of September 11th were intended to break our spirit. Instead we have emerged stronger and more unified.”
Here are some pictures from my trip to Ground Zero.
