IdeaFestival Taste of Innovation is again bringing new tastes for your palate this year. We are again celebrating the farm to table concept with local chefs and restaurants, and with the help of the Kentucky Distiller’s Association and Kentucky Bourbon Trail, a celebration of bourbon country. We’re highlighting our bourbon pride and appreciation for the distilling industry and its continued contribution to our thriving Commonwealth with tastings from major distillers, a walk through the history of bourbon and bourbon cocktails.
This year’s tasting of fabulous food and spirits are provided by the following confirmed participants that are home to the region’s most creative chefs: Art Eatables; Brasserie Provence; The Comfy Cow; Crushed Ice Events; El Camino; Ghyslain; Harvest; Hillbilly Tea; Kern’s Kitchen; La Coop; Levy Restaurants; Lilly’s Bistro; Manny and Merle; Marketplace Restaurant; Mayan Café; Momma’s Mustard, Pickles & BBQ; Napa River Grill; Papalino’s; Proof on Main; Rye on Market; The Seelbach Hotel/The Oak Room; Shalimar, The Silver Dollar; Spotz Gelato; Taco Punk; and Tony Boombozz. With Chef Dean Corbett as Master of Ceremonies, the Orange Fork Award will recognize those who embody the spirit of promoting a sustainable food system with uncompromising excellence for the community through innovation and tireless effort.
