To travel is to grow, to enjoy the sights you see and learn from different cultures and cities that you are not familiar with. It gives you a better understanding of people and the world we all live in.
Walking around Chicago gave me an amazing boost of energy. There’s so much going; from arts and culture to life and adventure. With surface level dwelling on Michigan Avenue to wandering the beautiful Astor Street, there is much to do in the Windy City and I can’t wait to get back there again.
My personal takeaway was my growth from a workshop with my favorite spirit junkie; Gabby Bernstein. Upon my return home, I promise to do little things for my friends, family, and neighbors.
With neighbors and fellow citizens of Louisville, I will hold the door for others, said “bless you” when people sneezed, smiled at people that look like they need to smile, etc. Even if I don’t get in return, it’s all about manifesting a better atmospheric space that we all share. If I give good, good will grow and impact countless others.
“Go be love. The world needs you.”
